... the longer version
I was that kid. You know the one. The one who shoveled every driveway after a big snowstorm before the other kids even woke up. The one who opened the lemonade stand early on the hottest of days to sell a few extra cups from his hand-crafted lemonade stand. The one who won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place at the middle school science fair.
When I think back on those days, I ask myself why. “Why get up so early to shovel? Why build an extravagant lemonade stand? Why submit 3 different entries to 1 science fair?” I think it was the challenge. I loved a challenge; and I still do.
But challenges aside, as I grew older, I became enamored with the creative process. Legos provided the first clue – I loved building. I also loved sketching. There is something rather magical about our ability as humans to conceive of an idea and then manifest that idea as a reality for others to experience. I think it was a combination of my appreciation for creativity and my entrepreneurial spirit that ultimately culminated in a passion for the innovative world of technology and design.
In 2011 I graduated from DeSales University where I earned a degree in Computer Science and was later honored as the recipient of the DeSales University Young Alumni Achievement Award.
My education and professional career are focused in the fields of information technology (IT), graphic design, and marketing. I have used that background to successfully launch a variety of successful businesses, including:
MC IT – MC IT is a managed services provider (MSP) that provides knowledgeable Help Desk support and 24/7 monitoring to businesses. MC IT is responsible for and supports 1,400+ employees across 10 states. I am Co-founder and Director of Operations.
Morganelli Properties – Morganelli Properties is residential and commercial real estate brokerage featuring licenses in PA & NJ with a 40+ member real estate family. I am Co-founder and Vice President.
Network Magazine – Network Magazine is the Lehigh Valley’s high-end, business leader driven publication. The magazine has a print readership of 8,000 and digital circulation of 100,000+. I am Co-founder and one of the Managing Partners.
While I will continue to grow and manage my businesses, I am ready for another challenge. I have grown my businesses by gaining insight rooted in user behavior and turning those insights into informed branding, marketing, and technology strategies. Because the strategies are informed by historical user behavior, new users are likely to engage and interact with the branded content. Creativity, technology, and strategy are a deadly combination.
Like I said before, there is something magical about turning an idea into a business. But to succeed today, it takes more than a good idea. It takes more than a good service or even a good product. For most, success today requires the ability to collect and analyze user behavior. It requires the ability to develop marketing strategies guided by user behavior. And it requires the creativity to turn strategies into a user experience.
